I’m still here. I’ve just been swamped with homework lately. Spring break starts after classes tomorrow, so I should be able to catch up on random facts at some point soon!

I was on my way to school this morning when I received a text message from my brother-in-law with the news. Brett Favre, the legendary quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, had announced his plans to retire.
I don’t think this is tremendously surprising news. Though immediately after the Packers’ season was over, I figured that Brett would be back for at least another season, I slowly began to get the feeling that he was calling it quits. Okay…
That post I promised.
Things have been going pretty well at school. Grades were good. Classes are going well this semester so far. But I’ve been thinking lately about another option besides medical school and becoming a physician. I’m absolutely loving my Genetics class right now, and I think that it’s something worth pursuing as a career goal.

The RaBlog Forums is looking for new members. Yes. We want to open it up to people that haven’t participated in the past. We have some very mature discussions regarding music, movies, TV, video games, religion, politics, sports… and we’re thinking about adding new forums every day (or something…)!

Okay, since it’s been around seven months or so since my last post, I guess I can post something here tonight.
School has been going very well for me. My first semester back after like five years off has gone as well as can be expected. I got straight A’s in my four classes for a GPA of 4.00. Now, my cumulative GPA for med school admissions purposes is significantly lower than that, but hopefully I’ll be able to get it up high enough to get in somewhere.
